Stake $1,000,000 Bad Beat Jackpot

Stake.com

Stake is cushioning brutal poker beats with a $1,000,000 Bad Beat Jackpot. If your monster hand gets cracked at showdown by an even stronger hand—and the table meets the eligibility rules—the jackpot pays out instantly to the table.

How it works

  1. Join a Ring Game table displaying the Bad Beat Jackpot icon in the lobby.
  2. Play Hold’em or Omaha.
  3. If a qualifying Bad Beat Trigger Hand loses at showdown, the jackpot pays out automatically to eligible players at the table.

Bad Beat Trigger Hands

  • Hold’em: AAAJJ (Aces full of Jacks) or better
  • Omaha: 2222x (quads deuces) or better

Eligibility checklist

  • The hand must go to showdown.
  • Both winner and loser must use exactly 2 hole cards to make their final five‑card hand.
  • For four‑of‑a‑kind to qualify, the losing player’s hole cards must contain a pocket pair.
  • At least 4 players must be dealt in to the hand.
  • If the board is run multiple times, only the first board can trigger the jackpot.
  • Players not dealt hole cards are ineligible.
  • Any player dealt in to a potential jackpot hand must remain at the table until the hand concludes to be eligible.

Jackpot payout split (per blind level pool)

  • Bad Beat Winner (pot loser): 8%
  • Bad Beat Opponent (pot winner): 5%
  • Other Players at the table (split equally): 3%

Each blind level has its own jackpot pool. The payout percentages remain the same across all levels.

Jackpot fund & stake distribution

  • Hold’em and Omaha share the same jackpot fund.
  • 2.5% of all Ring Game rake is allocated to the jackpot fund.
  • Each Ring Game stake holds a separate pool, funded by the following distribution:
StakeShare of Jackpot Fund
$2.50 / $556.67%
$1 / $222.67%
$0.50 / $111.33%
$0.25 / $0.505.66%
$0.10 / $0.202.27%
$0.05 / $0.101.13%
$0.01 / $0.020.22%

Stake terms & conditions

  • Only Ring Game tables with the Bad Beat Jackpot icon qualify.
  • Not available on non‑Ring Game formats.
  • Prizes are awarded immediately at the end of the hand and credited to player wallets.
  • Check your transaction history for past jackpot payouts.
  • Leaving the table before the jackpot triggers means no payout for that player.
  • Standard Stake terms apply.
